A little about me!
I’ve always loved helping others, it’s just who I am. I’m the person my family and friends call when something needs to be figured out, ordered (which is why the Amazon driver practically knows our driveway by heart, haha), or researched. Somewhere along the way, that just became part of my everyday life.
Organization and preparedness are what people usually associate me with, both personally and professionally. I work as a Purchasing and Quality Manager at a specialized machinery and orbital forming company where I wear plenty of hats. My work has taught me so much about systems, structure, and problem-solving, and it’s also what inspired me to help others bring that same sense of order into their own lives, even when life doesn’t go as planned.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outside. My garden is one of my favorite places to be. My love for gardening and canning was passed down from my grandparents and encouraged by my mother-in-law, and it’s something that keeps me grounded. Chickens are always part of the picture too, they’re endlessly entertaining and full of personality. My husband and I love spending time up north, exploring the Upper Peninsula, and snowmobiling whenever we get the chance.
And most importantly, our son is truly the light of our world. I am thankful for him every single day, especially knowing how rocky the beginning was. He’ll be two soon, and watching him grow, explore, and find joy in the simplest things has changed my perspective on everything.
Basically, if the sun’s out, I’m outside, probably with my little sidekick right next to me.
My Promise
To You
At The Unplanned Life, my heart is focused on helping both patients and caregivers find peace and direction in what can feel like a confusing and overwhelming healthcare system. Through my own experiences, I learned just how much organization, preparation, and the right tools can change everything.
My goal is simple to make life a little easier for you. Whether you’re caring for someone you love or managing your own health, The Unplanned Life is here to give you practical tools, helpful resources, and guidance you can actually use. I want you to feel more in control, more informed, and more supported every step of the way.
For a long time, I wasn’t sure how my education and life experiences would all come together until The Unplanned Life came to be. Who would have guessed that a Nursing major who switched to Healthcare Administration for a bachelor’s degree, then went on to become a Quality and Purchasing Manager while wearing plenty of other hats at a specialized manufacturing and machinery company, would end up finding the perfect combination of skills and purpose to make this dream a reality?
Later, pursuing a Master’s in Business and earning certification as a Life Coach gave me the balance I needed, combining problem-solving, organization, and compassion into something meaningful. Every step along the way has built the foundation for The Unplanned Life, where I bring together my love for helping others, my background in healthcare, and my experience in process improvement to make life a little easier for those walking through hard and unplanned seasons.
